Tithing
We strive to honor the Lord with the first 10% of our profits. Proverbs 3:9 tells us to:
"Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;"
The Old Testament especially is filled with verses instructing the Israelites on how to honor the Lord with their wealth. And although Jesus fulfilled the law, we strive to serve and honor the Lord in all aspect of our business, from our designs to the relationships we cultivate, and of course our profits.
In the New Testament, Hebrews 13:16 reminds us to help others:
"But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."
After much research and prayer, we have decided to support The White Rose Resistance--a non-profit organization established to fight for the lives of the unborn.
The Lord is very clear about His children and honoring life. He knit each and every one of us together in our mother's wombs for His specific purposes, and we have no right to take away the lives of His innocent children (see Psalm 139:13-16, Isaiah 44:24, Psalm 127:3).
